Go Super to Listen Go Super!

On Thanksgiving, the fourth Thursday of November, people across America chow down on traditional foods like turkey, mashed potatoes and stuffing. In fact, Thanksgiving is practically the national holiday of chowing down.

Chow is slang for food. When you chow down, you eat food. But not just a little snack. You eat a lot of food. And chowing down usually means eating in a way that isn’t especially delicate or refined. It often means eating quickly, and maybe even making a mess.

One person who knows a lot about chowing down is Adam Richman. He has a whole TV show about chowing down called Man v. Food. On the show, he travels to different restaurants and eats huge quantities of food that no normal man could hope, or want, to eat. He may even be the country’s leading expert on chowing down.

Do you like to chow down? Have you ever celebrated Thanksgiving? What did you chow down on?

Actually, I’m not kind of chow down person, I mean if I feel hungry I would  eat, but to be honestly sometimes when my family and friends around me, I feel like I want to eat more and more even if I’m not hungry, its depends on mood and it’s psychological matter for me I guess.
Great lesson and enjoy chowing down.Wink

Hahaha. This is a fun lesson. I love to chow down. Some of my favorites are pizza, Thai food, Indian food, ice cream and philly cheesteak. Thanksgiving has been a long-standing tradition in my family. I love the traditional Thanksgiving meal foods (turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce).

I like to chow down on Korean holidays like Thanksgiving Days that’s observed by Western countries. One of the biggest family holidays in Korea is Chuseok. During Chuseok, people visit their hometowns to gather with their entire extended familiy. Song-pyeon is a type of small rice cake that’s filled with various fillings. Then there are also special types food prepared for Chuseok. So when it comes, most of Korean can chow down on traditional foods with a good grace.Laughing
