There are usually ski rental stores at the base of most ski resorts. You can get skis, boots, poles, and a helmet from a rental shop.
When you get to the shop, someone will ask you to fill out a form. You will need to fill in your contact information, your weight, and height. Then you will need to sign a form which usually says that the shop is not responsible if you get hurt using the equipment.
After you complete the form, you will need to find boots that fit. It’s really important to rent boots that are comfortable. The person in the shop will help you select the right skis, boots, and poles.
Finally you will need to pay the rental fee. You will be given all of the gear that you picked out and then you will be ready for a fun day on the mountain. At the end of the day, you will need to return all of the equipment to the rental shop.

Discussion

Skiing can be so awesome, but you need so much gear. That is why renting equipment is the way to go if you are new to the sport.
Get out there and go skiing this winter. See you on the slopes!
