Sara_R:  I saw the most beautiful picture of Kate Middleton in this long blue dress. She’s just so poised. I love her!

Julie:  She’s very pretty, but I guess I don’t understand why people are so obsessed with royalty.

Sara_R:  I don’t know. It’s kind of exciting, and she sets the bar high for trends and fashion.

Julie:  But what’s her purpose, really? I mean, I know that doesn’t sound very kind, but I just don’t understand it.

Sara_R:  Well… she is part of the royal family

Julie:  See, I don’t even know how it works. Is she an heir to anything…

Sara_R:  Oh, I don’t know actually…

Julie:  … or isn’t it her husband? It’s very confusing to an American.

Sara_R:  I guess I am pretty confused. I just really like her outfits. Though, Princess Di did set the bar pretty high.

Julie:  She did.

Sara_R:  Yes.

Julie:  She had just millions of followers it seemed.

Sara_R:  And she also was very poised…

Julie:  And a humanitarian.

Sara_R:  It’s true. So, I don’t know if Kate has quite lived up to that.

Sara loves to see pictures of Kate Middleton so that she can learn about her latest fashion trends. She tells Julie about the blue dress that Kate Middleton wore recently. Julie agrees that she is beautiful, but she doesn’t understand why people become so obsessed with members of the royal family.

In fact, Julie and Sara are both confused about the British royal family. They don’t know if Kate Middleton is an heir to the royal throne or just the wife of Prince William. They compare Kate Middleton to Princess Diana, who set the bar high for British royalty. Princess Diana was famous for helping many people, but Kate Middleton is most famous for her fashionable outfits.

Who is your favorite member of a royal family? Would you like to be royalty?

I don´t have anything to say about Kate , except that she is pritty and poised, but although Lady Di was also not from royal background,  she was a queen in herself. She melted the hearts of the people with her beauty, serenity and humanitarian endeavours. Also a brilliant trendsetter.

Among women the person for me to live up to is Nadezhda Savchenko.
She’s got the spirit! Ukraine should be proud to have such heroes!
