Derek: So, you said you were gonna go buy a new Mac today?
John: Yeah. After all these years of using a PC, I think I’m gonna make the change.
Derek: Gonna make the big switch.
John: Yeah. Well, ya know those new Macs look so cool. There are so many neat things you can do with them. And I’m just tired of the PC. It seems like they break a lot.
Derek: Yeah. That’s true. I guess, um, ya know that Macs have always been kind of reported to be a little more consistent.
John: Yeah. So tonight the Mac Store is gonna have a big release party. I think it’s to celebrate the release of their new operating system called Tiger.
Derek: Oh Yeah. That sounds like it would be pretty fun actually.
John: Yeah. They’re giving away free stuff and discounts and so hopefully I’ll be able to get a deal on a new computer.
Derek: Yeah. I had a friend who, uh, got a discount last release.
John: Oh really?
Derek: Yeah.
John: Oh cool. It should be fun.
Derek: Well good luck.
John: Thanks.

It is such a big deal to change computer systems. You have to buy all new software first of all. Then you have to learn how the other system works.
Sometimes, it can be hard to communicate between Macs and PCs too. Mac files are often unreadable by a PC.
Oh well. In the end, it will all work out and the excitement of getting a new computer always outweighs the complications.
