There is a classic joke in English about a chicken who crosses the road in order to get to the other side. Dominique doesn’t understand this joke. She doesn’t know why people think it’s funny, and it goes right over her head.

It can be frustrating when something goes over your head. Maybe, your English teacher is very difficult, or perhaps your friend is excited about something really weird.
