Nedra: Anna, have you seen that movie, Run Lola Run?
Anna: No! Why?
Nedra: Well, ya know, I went and saw Bourne Identity and it has the same actress in it. Her name is Franka Potente.
Anna: Franka what?
Nedra: Franka Potente, she’s this really cool German actress. Uh, in Run Lola Run she had the bright red hair, but she was more Americanized in
this movie.Anna: What movie again?
Nedra: Bourne Identity. It has Matt Damon in it too.
Anna: Oh I didn’t see that. Is that that spy thriller?
Nedra: Yeah, yeah, I mean it has some good scenes, it’s kinda predictable, but not too bad.
Anna: How was she? Was she better in, uh, Bourne Identity or Run Lola Run?
Nedra: Oh my God! Run Lola Run was much, much better, um, by far.
Anna: But overall should I see the Bourne Identity?
Nedra: If you like her, go for it. Otherwise it’s just another Matt Damon flick.
Anna: He’s not so bad.

Discussion
Overall, The Bourne Identity was
a good movie, but it didn’t keep me on my toes like I wanted it to. Franka Potenta’s character in the movie could have been more developed.
Sometimes the movie would focus in on her character, but they never really pursued anything.
It was also weird to hear her speaking English, after watching her in German films where she only spoke German.
Do you like Franka Potenta? Have you seen the Bourne Identity? Check out the Movie Madness message board and let us know your opinion.
See ya next week!
