Derek: Well that’s an interesting getup.
Steph: Yeah, ya know, I was kind of inspired by this movie I saw last night.
Derek: What movie was that?
Steph: I saw this movie called In Old Chicago. It’s kind of this vintage movie. It’s a classic from the 50s.
Derek: Really? I haven’t seen that one yet. Is it pretty good?
Steph: Well, ya know, I actually didn’t watch it for the content. I watched it for the clothes because I really like vintage clothes.
Derek: Very good. Is there a certain period of time that you like?
Steph: Yeah. I really like the 50s. And when I look back at the classic movies, they, the girls have such great shoes, the guys are such gentlemen and they wear these wonderful suits.
Derek: So, unlike today?
Steph: Kind of. You don’t see the baggy jeans, kinda rapper styles back then.
Derek: Yeah, a little more wholesome and clean cut I think.
Steph: Somewhat. Yeah. Mmmhmm. That’s right.

Going out is so much fun when you get dressed up. The reason I like to get dressed up is so that I can be in character. I feel so glamorous when I’m out on the town, wearing something that stands out. Every once in a while I get ideas about what to wear from movies. One time, I even went out dressed like one of the flight attendants from Airplane. Try it! It’s so much fun!
