#256  A Time To Dance (Trailer)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1FI1ZuAj-Ew

Instructions:  Listen to the youtube video above and fill in the blanks below (or write your answers on a piece of paper). Beginners can use the list of missing words and phrases, but advanced students should try to fill in the blanks just by listening to the video (without looking at the list of missing words and phrases).  The answers are given at the end of the lesson.

Main Features:  This lesson has two important features.  1) The word "to" can sound like "ta", "da" or "na".  In this video you'll hear the phrases "have to" ("haf da"), "used to" ("used ta") and others.  2) The word "you" can sound like "ya".  It can be a little difficult to hear when the next word begins with a vowel, such as the phrase "you actually" ("ya actually").

Missing Words and Phrases (7):  and [en]; have to [haf da]; her [er]; to [ta] (2 times); used to [used ta]; you actually [ya actually].

Narrator's Commentary:  "For Abby and John the future never looked brighter.  And 25 years later things are beginning to fade.  But before they can break the news [1], Abby and John are in for a surprise of their own [2].  Now, if they're going to last until their daughter's wedding, they'll have to put their best foot forward [3].  And they're about to learn {that} once you feel the rhythm, true love never skips a beat [4].  Marvista Entertainment presents Jennie Garth, Dan Payne and Corbin Bernsen -- A Time to Dance."
