Dear Irene...your profile status sounds lovely and so happy.

We also do celebrate May Day over here. In all parts of germany this is an official holiday to celebrate workers night. On the night of April30 we light bonfiresand spend the night outside. On May 1st we put up gigantic maypoles to welcome spring adn to drive away all winters evil spirit. Like you people spend time in the country, recreational areas and with family and friends. 

I hope you'll have a pleasant time in the countryside. Re-energize your batteries and feel the bliss of spring :) Happy May day, dear irene :)

Yellow rice is typical Indonesian food, This food is made up from rice that is cooked along with turmeric, coconut milk and spices. In our country traditon of yellow color is ilustrates the wealth, prosperity and moral sublime. Hence, yellow rice often served at the celebration events such as birth/delivery, engangement, marriage.
