As for the Gazans, they’ll have to decide if all the destroyed buildings are worth it, not to mention the last week of constant bombing.

I don’t know. From the outset, at face value, nothing has changed for either party:

Hamas is still there and will rearm, and will no doubt fire on Israel again in the future.

Gaza is still under Israeli embargo, lots of buildings destroyed and life isn’t any better. No matter what, Hamas would have declared victory.

Yes, peopel that defend themselves against terrorism of course are ‘war criminals’. Just like firing thousands of rockets at civilians in the south of Israel isn’t a war crime, right?
