Thanks God, my house is situated on the hill. And my town has not suffered too much, because of the hills which helped the big water to flow down into the sea.

But Krimsk has no mountains near it and sea, it just has small rivers and a reservoir is located in a valley. 

Massmedia lies about number of victims. Really there are about 1000 dead people. 

My friend works in Emergency, he tells me the real state of things...

Dear Lenochka, it was  awful. Some people were killed in that terrible desaster while  sleeping in bed. They were cought suddenly. Many people lost their home. Oh my, how to live, how to begin the life again from zero?! How to bear the loss of close people? May everything be OK with them. The Russian government will help them, no doubt.

Please, be careful. I know, you live in a private house which is not hight.

I feel very upset because of this situation.:(

In my town there were three deaths because of the flood, in Gelendzhik - 10 people died, and

My neighboring small town Krimsk has stopped its existing, more than 200 people died there, the rest left their drowned houses and gone... 

Lena, I am so sorry about the situation in the connection with flash floods deluged Russia's southern Krasnodar. 

I present my condolences to all victims of the disaster.
