Tours can be set up to either take you for one night riding the camels to a nomadic camp where you may sleep in a comfortable tent with mattressing or move your mattressing outside the tent and sleep under the stars.  You will taste and share a traditional Berber meal and afterward enjoy drumming and songs giving you a feel of the rich Berber culture.  if your schedule allows more time in the desert, then you may elect to experience a camel trek for 3-5 nights which enables you to travel further into,the desert all while experiencing nomadic life and culture, food and way of life.  If you prefer less time in the desert because of travel constraints, a sunset camel trek allows you the opportunity to see and experience the ever changing sounds, colors and sites of the desert for an evening.
