Mary258 Iran, Islamic Republic Of	dear Mim! Persepolis (Old Persian: ‘Pars’, New Persian: ‘Takht-e-Jamshid’) was an ancient ceremonial capital of the second Iranian dynasty, the Achaemenid Empire! Almost 3000 years ago!!! A symbol for their empire and to celebrate special events, especially the “Noroz”, (the Iranian New Year _ 20 March). U can see my blog ..its about Noroz!
