Foooooooootball mania time guys! Since the 2010 FIFA World Cup is just around the corner, I was wondering who was everyone rooting for. My team of choice is Germany, and just today I got myself a German football jersey and tube scarf. I'm sure they're gonna kick major ass this year! GO DEUTSCHLAND!!!!

NATIONAL TEAMS PRESENT A NATION AND A COUNTRY AND ITS PEOPLE. EVERY FOREIGNER IS SEEN AS A GERMAN, TOO, AND EVERYBODY WHO DESERVE TO PLAY IN THE NATIONAL TEAM CAN PLAY THERE.

After the match with Gana Uruguay deserved to get its ass kicked. In fact, Uruaguay just got lucky that it did not meet with European team before the semifinals. Lets face facts hounestly, it does not deserve to play for the third place. Hope all medalds will be taken by European teams.

Suarez did a handhall and it was fair since he was expelled, he was suspended for one match, and also Ghana had a penaltie to do. And Uruguay did met an European team- France.

Ukraine plays in Europe. And it was second in its qualifieng group after England. But FIFA thinks that there is no place for many good European teams like Russia, Ukraine, Sweden, Croatia, Czech Rep, Turkey and many more… FIFA thinks that it is better to send there Honduras, Nothern Korea and… Uruguay. Sure it is sooo interesting to see mayches with 7-0 scores.

haha i'm sorry but this made me laugh so much. Are you saying that Russia, Sweden, Croatia play well? and Uruguay don't? Sorry boy/ girl but I think that Uruguay moved on Semifinals. where are those countries that you mentioned before? Think until talk! Uruguay played really well and if you don't know, they were champions 2 times ;)

I agree with Lu, and apart of that, what is the point of giving more places to European countries if most of the ones who qualified didnt pass the first groups (for example France, Greece, Eslovenia, Serbia, Denmark, Italy and Switzerland). SouthAmerican teams all passed the 1st round, and even more, only Chile lost in the round of 16. Four of the five qualified South American teams were in quarter finals.
