Grammar Point Strange Answer

Hi, Amy. in today’s lesson on the Black Keys, in the exercises in the grammar section there was a sentecne showing the following correct answer:

Didn’t you used to live in Hawaii?

It shows “used to” as the correct answer (sentence number 3). But I think it is a mistake and the correct answer should be “use to” as the sentence is already using the helping verb “did” and the verb “used” should be in its base form “use”. What do you think?

Hi! I’ll take a look at that. It sounds like we made a mistake!

Hi, Ademmy. “Was” is the past tense of the verb “be.” So you could say, “I was 25 last year.”

I hope that answers your question!
