I am confused about “being ” what dose that mean here ?

In this case, “being” means “taking place.” This is the same usage as, “The party is going to be at my house Saturday,” which means, “The party is going to take place at my house Saturday.” Either of these sentences are equally acceptable, although the first is more common.
