Hi! This is not a very common construction, but sometimes you will see a sentence that uses “With + subject + verb with ing” followed by an independent clause. For instance, “With the music playing so loudly, I can hardly hear you.” The first action, with the “ing” verb, is in progress right now; it is a progressive. The second action (I can hardly hear you) results from the first action (the music is playing loudly).

Perhaps the two sentences are OK whit a little difference …

It is best to say “Learning English is really hard.” 


You could also say, “It is really hard to learn English.”
