In the above sentence the ‘but’ functions as a relative pronoun which means ‘who not’ or ‘that not’. Can you please give a few examples like the above sentence?

In your sentence, the word “but” functions as “who does not” or “that does not.” But the sentence does not sound complete. It certainly sounds archaic (very old) or possibly from a poem. Could you double check that all of the words are there?


I’m afraid that I cannot give any more examples like the above sentence because it simply isn’t how English is spoken or written today!
