To be “short of” something means to not have enough of something. For example, you might say, “I want to make some cookies, but I’m short of two cups of sugar.” On the other hand, to be “nothing short of” means to have a lot of something. For example, “She is nothing short of amazing in her newest movie.”


The title of the movie Enchanted is also an adjective… to be “enchanted” means to be delighted by someone or something. In the above sentence, the writer is saying that Mason is very delighted by the movie Enchanted.
