Dear Irene, you are welcome and really great to hear you don agree with it, I keep sharing to whoever learning English and have a difficulties in writing. What I love a bout this article is that actually it's important to write with our own style ad not copying others, simple is good, simple is alright, and latin words really drive me mad, I bought a book called " Word power made easy " it's a book to develop our vocabulary, have you read that book. Oh...i think it's too difficult to learn word roots, though after we understand the root of the words, soon we'll able to know more than just one word.

Dear, Criz your exams are over now!!! I hope you passed them with flying colours ;)  My congratulations!!!

It's a very useful article to understand how to write in English. Short and simple  Anglo-Saxon nouns and verbs  are our best tools as a journalist writing in English. I also agree that  four principles of writing good English are Clarity, Simplicity, Brevity, and Humanity. And , no doubt, we should use  more Active voice than Passive.

I have a quote by H. Jackson Brown, Jr what  I'd like to sum my review with. “Never make fun of someone who speaks broken English. It means they know another language.”
