Hello people! How are you doing?

Today I want to talk a little about my thoughts on the famous books series "A Song of Ice and Fire", by George R. R. Martin.

I remember the first time I laid my eyes on the brazilian cover of the book. Brazilian books tend to have gorgeous covers to attract people, since reading is not a very popular hobby here. And the cover of the first book, "A Game of Thrones", is a beautiful illustration of the great wall. The moment I saw it, in all it's glory, I knew I had to read it. I had just finished reading "Brisingr ", from Christopher Paolini, and since the his last book wasn't available yet I was craving for more fantasy books. "A Game of Thrones came to me in the right time!

Well, about the book itself, there's little I can tell that wasn't told yet. The book is amazing, though I felt like George Martin tends to expand the plot unnecessarily sometimes. On the other hand, we end up having a very complex fantasy world, a world with a soul, that really seems to be a real place.

The 5th book is about to be released here in Brazil and I can't wait to read it!
