i dunno why?

i've always listened to my friends and quotes saying, "You have to fight for what you want." I've been following those lines and i'm still the one who cries myself to sleep, hoping deep inside that he'll call, saying he's sorry for being so blind and that i'm the one he's always loved. When all the memories that were supposed to keep me smiling for the rest of my life soon made me cry  every time i thought about him And all i ever did was love him with everything i had, plus more, while he loved me just enough to last for a while, because forever didn't mean a thing to him.i've had my heart  on the line multiple times, only getting the same results in more painful ways. so when they kept saying,"You have to fight for what you love," did they also mean you had to fight for what you want, even if it didn't love you anymore??
