Things I Like: hmmm... too vast Here's a poem I wrote My World And Beyond It I look around and see the things I like, The things I adore becoz of my human psyche. The chocolate sundaes, And the rose bouquets, The pretty green trees, The chimpanzees, The shopping sprees, And the chinkys, These things I really love. The sky during the night and day, And the fun we have on April fools day, My big brown teddy, Chicken and spaghetti, The sunset, The Internet, These things I really love. The blue jeans I wear, And playing “truth or dare”, Having money to spend, And hanging out with my best friends, Acting cool, Or playin’ the fool, These things I really love. Playin’ basketball, And my Barbie doll, To smell a flower, And take a shower, To dance in the rain, And the horses’ mane, These things I really love. There are many other things that I love, They are too many to pen, I know that one-day I have to leave these things behind, The day that I die and move to a better place, Heaven, where there is bigger space. Maybe these things wouldn’t be there, But I’ll like it better, Coz over there, Where God reigns, There wouldn’t be tears Or fears. Instead only joy and praise, Because of God’s grace.
