Was the monster cod in Storfjorden Norway genetically modified?

Even though Norway is a very restrictive attitude with respect. genetic manipulation of organisms, it is very strong capital strength that lies behind the aquaculture industry in the country.
This I think is very sad that the money should come before anything special environment that is so vulnerable. How is the nature of the next generation look like if this continues?

Green Warriors of Norway (NMF) requires farmed cod analyzed for gene manipulation. NMF requires immediate slaughter of all farmed cod from generation year 2006 and older. This autumn, a number of fishermen had large amounts of deformed fish in Storfjord Basin in Troms. Pisces is among others, had hunchback and deformed Spord. All indications are that this is about escaped farmed fish, which extent is confirmed by Atle Mortensen at Nofima in Tromsø.
