a new word

Hi Friends,

 

I have learned a new word yesterday.. I need your help to make new sentences with that word.

 

Word : Sorcerer
Meaning : One who practices magic

 

The problem i am having is, I can remember the meaning of a world. But if anyone asks me to use it in sentence, i feel very difficult.

 

Can anyone help me?

Hey,

 It looks good initiative to learn new words.

 To your problem, the best way to overcome is to create a situation with your friends where you can use this word for speaking. try the same method with different group of friends. I use this way to familarize a word in speaking.

WORD : Umbrage

Meaning : To feel upset or annoyed usually because you feel that someone had been rude or lack of respect to you.

Usage : I'd never expected that she would take umbrage to what I thought were such harmless remarks.

All this sorcerer wants is a magic stick

This is an english usage . This means, that sorcerer(one who practices magic ) has everything. he knows mantra, have magic realted stufss, but doesn't have magic stick. He couldn't do any magic with that.
