'dole standards'? It means nothing. Do you mean 'dull' standards? 'dole' means to give out bit by bit in equal portions, or it means charity or welfare. The phrase means nothing at this point, let us know what the proper spelling is or what you are trying to say. Is this for a class?

I made a mistake while typing.

OK, double standards means something like 'do what I say, not what I do.' People who are down to earth, real and reliable do not have double standards. The same people who say 'I'm not racist but…' usually are racist and thus have double standards. Someone who is against violence but spanks their children have double standards. I hope that makes it clearer. 

 You have to know a person quite well to know what their standards are, double or not.
