My son has studied French Immersion for 9 year, and my daughter worked in Paris for one year.

My motto is understand the culture first and the acquaint the people and finally gain the friendship.

I only visited Paris for one day in 2010, I have no comment on French.

One of my friends lived in Germany ad hired a French as secretary, he told me that French not equal to friendship even though they sound alike.

It depends on the people whom you deal with.  For my friend, no French anymore.

i;ve met some of them before .they are cold and selfish but i love them :)

many of them are cold people , and hate English's speakers.

but France is amazing country…..and the franch women are warmer than Baguette in the morning..:)

I think it unfair that the French people sterotype Americans, as the ugly American. That's an opinionated remark. Rudeness comes in all cultures. There good and bad in all nationalities.  Other than the French sterotype us Amerians as Ugly. (Which is not true) I have nothing against the French. They are people as you and I.
