"forest bath"??

peiyichen

United States

I am wondering if there is such a phrase “forest bath” in English. In Chinese, “forest bath” means that you go into the forests or the woods to breathe the fresh air and inhale some good elements released from the trees. It’s not a real bath in the water. “Forest bath” is a direct translation from Chinese. So is it ok to say so? or is there any better way to describe such a thing?
Hope to get an answer from here!! ^^ Thanks!!

HI dear friend!

Its a classic mistake to try speak any other language as a translation of yours. Each language have a particular kind of expressions ,idioms and metaphoric speach. So, dont ever try to speak a translate version of your language. Try to learn a new expressions in english, listening to music, watching tv or dvd , always with subtitles OFF.

Great Kiss!!!

e-mail me, ok?
