As a crime against the person, rape is uniquely horrible in its long-term effects. The anguish it brings is often followed by an abiding sense of fear and shame. Discussions of the data on rape inevitably seem callous. How can one quantify the sense of deep violation behind the statistics? Terms like incidence and prevalence are statistical jargon; once we use them, we necessarily abstract ourselves from the misery. Yet, it remains clear that to arrive at intelligent policies and strategies to decrease the occurrence of rape, we have no alternative but to gather and analyze data, and to do so does not make us callous. Truth is no enemy to compassion, and falsehood is no friend.

the problem is not the kind of clothes that women wear

the problem is what women and men think about sexual freedom. 

Reasons:

• Late night party cultures, discos, dating clubs, fashion shows and beauty contests have increased in numbers in the past 10 years.
• This decade has witnessed a huge increase in pornography materials both in CDs and on Internet. 
• The entertainment industry and media which have access nearly to every house, present bold scenes and nudity as fashion and symbol of higher lifestyle.
• The youths are heavily getting addicted to drugs and other intoxicant stuffs.

 Solutions:

To get the society free from crimes, the spate of pornographic materials must be strictly banned. The media, TV channels and cinema which present and publish vulgar materials must be censored. womenfolk have to be careful to safeguard their modesty and self-respect. youths and new generations need to be given more and more morals teachings and social values.

i’m who said that!...and as u said men will look at the woman who is more sexy, and that matter can’t be done without tight and semi naked clothes, and i didn’t say every woman who wear that would be raped, coz the many conditions enter that equation, and u don’t what is going in the chest of those men by raising the spirit of lust inside them with such clothes, and who prevent him, his fear of socitey and police….as i remember a saying for an ex president of america: when lust came reason go away! or man lost his mind when lust came…something like that! this is the nature of man…but if there is no fear of such things, like a man who has authority, i think we heared a lot about men in such positions in a so-called civlized states like israel rape their employee!!!
then the fear of God exist only to prevent man from comitting a such thing, beside woman shouldn’t raise the lust inside man by showing their assets, right ??

ok, it shouldn’t be a”culture” but the matter come from the recent situation of media intersted in spreading sex with all aspects of it like pornography in every thing in modern life and women apply it which encourage sexual arousal for men ( either sick or not), and as i said before ” men r eyes”...so why i excite him then ask him to control urself plz!
why i prevent the reasons for that, to decrease the no. of cases….i didn’t say it would finished utterly but decrease . the number mentioned is horrible 90000.
