What do you think of religion(especially Islam)?

What do you think of religion? play an active or a passive role? Somebody says that radical Islamites are the biggest trouble makers ,do you agree that? As to me , I don't believe any religion,but have no objection to other's believing in anything that was not harmful to stability of society

I think you have to believe.

I believe religion is not necessary for people who have good judgement.

For those people who cannot distinguish between right and wrong , the religion can act as a guideline , but the sad part is that these people are stupid enough that they donot  understand the real meaning of thier religion and are drawn towards holywars and respond to  fanatic calls by thier leaders ….......

I go by Facts. 700 AD – Sri Lanka, Burma, Afghanistan , Thailand were more or less had Buddhist Majority. Out of this, Afghanistan was Invaded by Foreign Army. Today, Sri Lanka, Burma, Thailand, there are just 5 Muslims, in Afghanistan it is 100%!!. How come that certain country  get 100% change in Heart ,where as in other Countries it was just 5%?  

and all of ıt s other special features.and by the way you say that we are the barbars then can you ever tell me a country all around the world that is under occupy just because of its religion by the Muslims.

Certain parts of India(especially Pakistan) was under Occupation of foreign Islamic forces for  over 700 Years. Egypt, Algeria, Libya etc were Invaded by Arabs and changed the culture language and every thing. Except for Turkey and Iran, others shameless followed what the Invaders brought them.

Let me tell no dear ;dont google cause you cant find cause we are the ones who are under occupation just because of the reason of the religion Islam ;just lıke Palestine and the others. ıf you wanna see barbarism ,cruelty, torture , you are wandering around the wrong place dear.

All the existing things can be explain without the intervention of a "creator", that was what I was trying to say, cause some people here put statemens like: "everything have to have a creator, the allmighty", ect. Anyone can say the same for any god of any religion, even the must weird and impopular.And even the same Philpo say: "and even you, you were not created by your parents right?." That´s my point, no intervention of any supreme power, just the casuality of the relation of my parents.

The post of asiaman is obiuosly aimed to Islam, as the say "You made you bed, now go lie in it…" but I think that´s the reason he calls it "troublemaker".

For me Islam, or any other religion, is just a organization with none-profit organization (let´s be real they do like money A LOT), attempted to control the moral values of a nation. Composed of improbable stories of moralty and braveness, etc. In a modern civilized society there´s no need for religion to held the moral values, you can practice it if you want but it doesn´t mean that the state must be ruled for it, cause it can open the door for corruption, tyranny and slowdown the progress of the nation.

Philipo ,there is a similar widespread myth in China that everthing in the world was created by a giant pangu, after his death, his breath became the wind and cloud ,his soud became the thunders ,his left eye became the sun while right eye became the moon, his hair and beard became the stars in the sky,his blood became the rivers and ocean ,his blood vessel became the pathways,his muscle became the mine,his skin and fine hair became the trees and grass,and his sweat became the rains .Actually every nation has the similar myth,but they are all nothing but mythes.In ancient China , a large proportion of pepole in swelldom were atheists.By and large ,Chinese were doing business with gods instead of believing gods .If a guy wants gods to bless him ,he would  donate a large amount of money to the temple ,if good luck doesn't come ,he would complain to or even swear at the gods.
 A very interesting story
 There used to a long time's drought in the southeast of China ,the local peasants had prayed in front of gods' effigies for days.but there was still no rain. Ultimately the poor gods' effigies was carried outside by the angry peasants ,tasting the hot and thirst under the burning sunlight THEMSELVES.

I  consider communism to be a religion as well, I used to be brainwashed that commies were creating a perfect society in which there would be no exploitation.So ridiculous , other religions are the same ,they must brainwash people in advance ,then people will become the spirit slaves

People along history have been used religion as a brainwash weapon as ironically the same Karl Max sayed: "Religion is the opiate of the masses", cause some "modern religions and churches, each and every one of religious organizations, are organs of bourgeois reaction called upon to defend the holding and brutalize the working class". I have to make clear that not all religions are like that, but sadly must of them are.

If you have a dump nation to rule is way easy to explote them. There's a not so far exmple, remember the Iranian Presidential Elections?, that everybody knew it was fraude. That country was at the edge of a national riot and the Ahmadineyad was in serious trouble, but then what happend? The Islam leader I think the major yihad or something of that country give him the aproval and that's the end of the story.

Or here in Latinamerica, where every dictator was supported by the Catholic church. Here is a description of the best presidential administration that my country has ever had, the administration of the great leader Juan Bosch:

Of course the part of freedom of worship did not like at all to the conservative Catholic religion and supported his "coup d'etat". PS: it was US that did not let him get back to the chair, but thats another story.
