A Cry... From An Old Heart...

My Heart cries whenever I visit ‘Old Age Homes…’
My Heart cries when they tell me how that all happened…
My Heart cries when I try to make them smile…
&... I wrote a poem for such people…
With A ‘Message…’

‘What to do now…
& Who to blame…?

How to play while…
Life isn’t a game…



An act that I can’t play…
A name that I can’t take…

My eyes had a Shine…
But now there’s a tear’s lake…

 

The day when I became a Father…
I aimed to love my Child…



But which mistake I made in my past…
That My Own Blood became so wild…?



Many Rainfalls my heart has had…
60 winters my eyes have seen…

But the way this Summer makes me feel…
NEVER SO COLD… AS IT’S BEEN…



My eyes have now been Shineless…
& My smiles have also gone…

I gave you my life… My Son…
But you made me all alone…




I see you’re busy with your family…
& you love your son as I did…

When I came home from my work…
I always loved when you hid…

I pretended to be blind…
untill you came behind me…



But now you’ve grown up…
Now in your home… you mind me…



I never wanted to depend on you…
But my life made me unable…

What I always wanted for you…
Is just… to see you Stable…

You’ll realize it when I’ll be dead My Son…
Then you’ll come & give me your Shoulder…




Cuz one day you’ll be like ‘I AM…’
& ONE DAY… YOU’LL BE AS OLDER…’

I want to request all of those…
Whose Parents are alive…
whether in Old Age Homes…
Or at your home…
TO TAKE CARE OF THEM…

AS THEY TOOK CARE OF YOU…
WHEN YOU WERE NOTHING…
BUT USELESS TO DO ANYTHING ON YOUR OWN…

THEY TAUGHT US EVERYTHING WE KNOW…
THEY GREW US UP…
THEY GAVE THEIR LIVES TO US…

& NOW IT’S THEIR TIME TO RELAX…
& OURS TO TAKE CARE OF THEM…

THEY PLAYED THEIR ROLES WELL…
NOW IT’S OUR TURN…
TO MAKE THEM HAPPY…
TO TAKE CARE OF THEM…

& I want to request all of those (who unfortunately have lost their parents…)
To fetch some time for visiting Old Age Homes…
& To talk to these ‘DYING DIAMONDS…’
No matter atleast 2 hours on just weekend…
but these 2 hours would be really precious for them…
WHO SPEND EVERY SECOND OF THEIR LIVES WITH TEARS…

I’d be glad if I made ATLEAST ONE to do so through my forum…

It is realy so touching poem rocky, n photos are also touching, keep your good deeds going. :) i want to work socially too but somehow i get some work that i couldn’t be  able to work this way like you, but i have faith that it is so great to think beyond the limit of yourself, n i found you thinking that way, you realy are great, i am glad to be your friend. Unfortunately in U.S & Europe it’s not for Old People as it’s here…
Well I hope every kid to respect… love & care for their Parents…
Cuz according to me…
If I give ‘EVERY SINGLE BREATH OF MINE…’ to my Parents…
Even then I can’t pay them back what they did for me…
& Every Parents do the same…

& When my Parents holded my hand when I raised my ‘FIRST STEPS…’
Then I’d be ‘THE MOST SELFISH & CRUEL KID…’
if I don’t hold their hands in their ‘LAST STEPS…’

& I’m glad that you meet your Mother… :)

I agree with you guys, when anyone of us get in this age they get more emotaionally attached to these things, you can say they have more strong feelings for there family.
