Really wise, dear Rockyy, I admire you as a human being. To my regret there are only few like you. As to me I would define my position as “passive kindness” and it’s a shame I don’t have enough courage to turn it into “active”. When I was 15 I worked for the Red Cross in my place and my responsibility was to visit old people and help them in every-day life. I didn’t earn much money but I got a good experience and saw many sad things that made me think and reflect but I was young and my life was full of other things. So I didn’t continue that path.
Anyway, the comparison with a teacher is a good one but not all the teachers are sincere or wise or kind or scarifying etc…some of them work just for earning money without any good higher reason (metaphoric comparison as well).
But I like the phrase of yours “if appearing in exams I couldn’t make it well…& couldn’t give proper answers or coudn’t get the questions…& I get failed…Then it’s Surely my mistake…” as every person has his\her own free will and bear responsibility for his\her acts.
From the other hand there could be a “boomerang effect”, who knows what those parents did in their lives…yes, now they are old and need love, care and help but wouldn’t it have been their “cost” or…as I always say: before doing smth or treat someone in this or that way – think and imagine yourself in other person’s shoes. Related to this topic – do you want your kids to do the same with you? May be if they tried to imagine they wouldn’t have left their parents, even due to their life partners (who are supposed to have their own mom and dad too).
To finish my rather long comment (sorry for this, I tried my best to cut it shorter) I would say that have never understood the people leaving their parents, kids or even pets out of the door.
