as you know,distance,time and speed are not independent from each other they are bound to each others

formulation is so:

speed =distance divide time

so,for example we can found the time if we know speed and distance.

it talks about distance:

''in 5,000 light years''=5,000×9.4607×1012 km=473035×10^15km

the distance it travels in 5,000 light years means=473035×1015km
