The son cursed his father's age-softened mind,  ----------—What's the "age-softened" mind??Please help me, there is no answer in a dictionary~T_T

Hi there! Thanks for your question. "Age-softened" is a compound adjective meaning softened, or weakened, by age. The adjective is describing the father's mind, so his mind was made less strong by his old age. Thanks again!
