Are you lax/relaxed?

         How are you?

         When I ask someone "How are you?" They just said, "I'm lax." Did I hear correctly? or they just said, "I'm relaxed". So it is correct, what does "I'm lax" mean? Thank you very much.

Hmm… My guess is that the person said "I'm relaxed." There is a word "lax," but it is usually not used to describe people. When rules are lax, it means they are not very strict. This is the most common context in which you'll hear the word "lax" used.
