but I don't know what 'mind shift' means.

could you tell me what that means exactly?

and I have a onemore question!

in conversation, beren said " as far as like spanking versus timeouts or.."

'as far as' makes me confused!  why they were used in that sentence?

Is it just used same meaning like "as far as I know" ?

Great questions! "Mind shift" is a funny phrase that is not used regularly. Marni means a change in people's attitudes.

We use "as far as" to mean "referring to" or "in terms of." We often say "as far as X goes…" For instance, "As far as school goes, I am passing all my classes but struggling in math."
