1) is there any difference in usage between “pull an all-nighter” and “stay up till all hours of the night”? Which one is more common?


2) The quiz question hasn’t still been corrected and is still showing this answer as correct: “Didn’t you used to live in Hawaii?”

Hi! Sorry about your second comment, about the wrong quiz answer…that is strange because I did this myself some time ago! I will double check it.


As for your first question, “pull an all-nighter” means stay up all night. “Stay up till all hours of the night” just means stay up really late—not necessarily the whole night.
