When somebody asks you for something and you give it to them, which expression is correct or, perhaps, more common? Here you go or There you go?

Assuming you are dirctly giving something to the person, “Here you go” would be more common. This implies that I am giving something to you.


“There you go” is more common as a way to tell someone they are doing something correctly.
