Do you still deceive yourself?

Although I'm a honest man, I still sometimes deceive myself. and you? 

sometimes but generally when i feel bad myself…

for examples;

I must  do any a duty, but I postpone another day,

 I'm very poor but I deem a rich man myself, so on…

haha the question is very interesting. 

in fact i  can't control the  feeling sometimes. so maybe deceive myself. at the same time ,i don't want to do so, but i think it's the best way to solve the problem .

I think that all human beings deceive themselves if what you have exemplified is deception . As I think deception is more than this , to deceive yourself is to believe in something and do the opposite,e.g you beleive that one must not lie and you lie yourself. Do not worry you don't deceive yourself but you should be a little more strict with yourself

A man who really know himself , and trust with people who around, don't need to deceive himself ,and won't absolutely deceive himself, because   me is me what ever I do.

I think, we can make use of decieving in many ways.

Depends on your purpose and how you do it.

Some people deceive himself only to escape from a really situation that they live, to a virtual reality they hope to be, of course we are all  have our permissible dreams which we want to become a real , but that's don't mean to pull ourselves leg, and if we do , we will enter an enormous whirlpool of deceptions and lies ,for ourselves first and for the others second, and this isn't gong to change the truth, as far as to ourselves.
