I think that the god exist in everyone mind. Every country have themselves culture and should be respected. I live Taiwan that god is called  神明 (sorry, I can't translate the word), in Taiwan every god looks so powerful and let people scare.ex: http://photo.xuite.net/t191a111386/2429954/19.jpg, but i know that their mind are gentle. their only want to help people that can go to right path.

But I thought about this subject too, or like E.A. Poe says: "Is all that we see or seem, But a dream within a dream?"

If this is the case, I think the matrix-scenario is more plausible than the God one.

I have a lot God in my mind.  and the God is not only invisible creatures, but are also your parent, friends , relative etc. so I think that as long as help people to right path. is just a good god and is also more appropriate to exist in everyone mind.

             This is a big question to me,before I  answer your question,I should know what god is,and what god brings to us,what will we lose if we don't belive god?

             I can't belive something that I don't know what it is.

I don't belive that exist any God! I belive only the science. The most people needs to belive to someting, because so they are more strong with the mind, in the hard moments. I have friend islamic and cattolic, and when they speaks about God or Allah i listen the same words, but they think that speaks about different God. ;-)

Doesn't your dreaming-philosophy conflict with the Islamic belief Justic?
