I'm no master of International Law, nor are you. Copy-paste what you want, but it might look better if you could explain what you're presenting. UN resolutions often go ignored by countries when the facts on the ground make it impossible to comply. That doesn't excuse it, but why is Israel being singled out on this one? The UN general assembly has a majority of small third-world and Arab as well as Muslim dictatorships that are obsessed with Israel, and prefer to ignore any of the world's other issues (Zimbabwe, Sudan anyone?). Honestly I wouldn't take resolutions from a body as corrupt as the UN as any sign of whats right or wrong. The UN resolution that calls for disbanding groups like Hezbollah in Lebanon is widely ignored, and that led to the war in Lebanon in 2006. I think one of the main reasons why you deride Israel's democrazy is because you don't agree with it foreig policy. ALL NGOs agree with the heightened state of democracy of Israel some examples: Freedom House: Israel places 1st place in the Middle East, the only country that is certified as 'free' while the rest are all 'not free. Reporters without borders: Israel places 46th in the world, first in the middle East in terms of free press.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Worldwide_Press_Freedom_Index#Worldwide_Press_Freedom_Index_Ranking I can't help think that I'm stating the obvious that only a blind fool would dispute: Israel is the ONLY democracy in the Middle East.
