Let's go folks! One slang on day!

An idea suddenly occurred to me …......we can share the slangs or useful expressions you learned from movies or songs and you think very useful and practical in daily life  together…...................

There are many slangs in english and some of them can't be found in your textbook…. i think only the native speakers understand the deep meaning of it….

but they are very useful and enrich  your language ., the problem is we seldom have the oppotunity to use them in our daily life so despite that we may have read the slang b4 but forget it very soon…......

eg :"she is always running the show' means she is the boss she decides …......

a moronic kid…hehehe maybe you should say she is naive or innocent.

One of my friend got divorced last month. i still remember the luxurious wedding ceremoy. My friend is a female who is a real blue blood and her husband married her just like he married into the purple because her father is a big moneybag who owns a huge retail chains aroung China

After their marriage, it is my friend who wears the pants at home. her husband is just her puppet. At last the man can't stand anymore.He can't stand to be a mooch.They divorced. 

How did it come to this? If i were the man i would suck it up for the purpose of money.  hehehe…. Will you ?

Most kids are naive and smart enough to learn English, but moronic kids are different. You have to be really smart and patient to teach them English.That is why kids are wonderful and she is a rare breed.

Here is a true story of my cousin..

She is a real shopaholic, I have no doubt about it.She is very keen on shopping, especially the finer things, Very Expensive indeed, like Prada sandal, Gucci bags, Rolex watch, Moa Cap, just to name a few.Like most of shopaholics, she always shops till drop, but she carefully avoids low priced goods.

Some experts say she has a serious disease, a shopping addicts, first I don't believe them until I see with my own eyes the consequence of her expensive habit. 

I regard you as my buddy.we are brothers.

If i were a real blue blood i wouldn't marry you unlesss you kicked my ass.hehehe

In fact some of my students don't study hard .They prefer to kick my ass before exam.Unfortunately, i am a stick-in -the -mud.All their efforts will be in vain i won't give them any preference on exam.

I guess some of them hate my guts and call me an asshole behind my back.

The place where i am working is full of incompetents…...hehehe

well just as saying goes:"  if you pay peanut, you will get monkey"

The girl is in Black n Blue, yes she is my cousin, she always wears Black pant and Blue shirt where ever she goes.I know her, she is different from her schoolmates, unlike them she likes her English teacher but has little time to do her homeworks and often miss her classes because she spends most of her time at the malls.Remember she is a real shopaholic.

One day she comes to me for help.She is highly in debts, she buys all those things on her platinum credit cards, the card that belong only to the privileged fews who pay some extra fee for superior services and prestige.Of course, I don't know how to help her, I'm very confused, i'm not mature enough to handle such Money problem.

Then comes a lovely young guy who runs into her when she is standing in line at the cashier.He needs two bugs to pay for two tennis balls.My cousin comes to rescue him by paying his purchases.An hour later, they have lunch at a fancy chinese restaurant although he insists to eat at Mdonald, and she picks up the tub.Before they part, he promises her to keep in touch.

In brief, he falls in love with her, surely love at first sight.She can't hardly wait for him to his call.They always forget to stop talking on the phone.When he knows her money problem he helps her by paying off her debts and the most beautiful thing is he asks her to marry him.She is full of joys and loves so she embraces him and kiss him.He is the only son of a blue blood family, a city's wealthy and famous tycoon. I'm very happy for her.

I know you won't believe it. Yes, the stroy is fictitious, but my question is" do you believe in LUCK ?

i believe luck. Some of the time i feel i am a lucky dog.

Several times when i felt despaired, i stepped out of the trouble by the help of some kind persons.(it is not fictitious.) As the saying goes God never closes a door without opening a window.

Have you ever heard of the story named footprints on the sands? In the story When you feel most depressed, miserabble, when you are lost and lonely, When you feel  no love at all, god is not only accompany you but carry you.Despite i don't believe there does exist a god, i believe all of those who will help me when i am in trouble are GODS.

Speaking of shopping, i really don't like it. Every time when i step into a mall, i feel lost. Clothes there are really eye—openers but so do the prices. They are daylight robberies! Except the high prices i don't like huge crowds either.

A TRUE STORY HAPPENING ON ME JUST SEVERAL MINUTES AGO.

Dear friends here,

Believe it or not. A Big luck just happened on me several minutes ago.

When i sent the above posting several minutes ago, in fact i felt really puzzled. Luck did happen on me several times ago. But i am not sure about it in fact. I am not sure god is always accompanying me.

But now i  firmly believe in it now.

I withdrew 800 RMB from bank today and took it to school with the hope of buying some summer clothes after class. When i arrived at the shop i found both the money and the bankbook were missing. And i couldn't remember where I could have left. Then i cancelled  the shopping ,went to the bank reporting the miss of the bankbook , went back home ,turned on the computer. I sent  the posting when the cell phone was ringing. You guess, it is the monitor. He called me and told me he found both my money and bankbook.——-> It is  a true story.

A black day has turned into a lucky day.   Today i met God.

How amusing it is reading your true story of Lost n Found Money while sipping a cup of chinese tea.

Do you remember the blue blood gentleman who just married my cousin ? He has a cousin who I just met at the coffee shop and told me a story that I am sure you would love to hear.I know her girl friend just left him for a rich and famous old man, but he looked very sharp and happy that morning.I was curious what made him so cheerful ?

Here is his story.

When he was shopping spree at the big shopping mall, he found a small red fancy purse in the washroom, inside it he found 800 RMB and a namecard that belong to a young lady.It intrigued him how she had left her purse there, so he called her and said on the phone if he could visit her.He was pleased to hear her pleasant voice.He though it was an amazing chance to see her who he thought was a lucky lady.To be honest he told me that what drove him was his burning desire to get to know more about her, not to return her things.Minutes later he jumped into his car and rushed to her school.

I don't know what happen then because I've not met him since then and of course I am curious what his story will end. If he is a lucky dog this time, it will be a happy ending.
