An idea suddenly occurred to me …......we can share the slangs or useful expressions you learned from movies or songs and you think very useful and practical in daily life  together…...................

There are many slangs in english and some of them can't be found in your textbook…. i think only the native speakers understand the deep meaning of it….

but they are very useful and enrich  your language ., the problem is we seldom have the oppotunity to use them in our daily life so despite that we may have read the slang b4 but forget it very soon…......

eg :"she is always running the show' means she is the boss she decides …......

Did you meet God in my Cousin's kindness ???

The guy is going to get married with his girlfriend who is a very charming and lovely girl On October 1 (Ntional Day of China) this year.I have decided to gift them a big envelop as their wedding present on their ceremony to repay what he did for me.

hehehe some of the time we need to repay the kindness even the man helping us is God.

My parents said that they went downtown and lived there for the weekends, so i threw a party at my house. BUt they came back earlier and busted the party up.

The story of my cousin who just married the upper crust is classic, a fairy tale. She is a real lucky female dog, the most luckiest person I've ever known.When she was a teenager she had been an English teacher at the kindergarten for years in an mediocre environment where incompetent workers were normal that made her bored and depressed most of the time, so she seek help from a Fruedian Psychologist to makes her reasonable in dealing with her insane world, a kind of psycological treatment.

Her father is a houseband, a stay home daddy who does all the household tasks because her mother, who is a nurse at a small local clinic, as a bread winner loathes them.Like most of working class family, they live in self denial, who cherish frugality, modesty, dilligent and triviality.But she grew up in a different world where addictive to shopping is growing, a shopaholic as some experts say it, inevitable she became one of them.

After married to the son of the rich and famous her life has been dramatically transformed to a new life, from rag to rich.Now she leads a wonderful life style most people are envious of.As an ex English teacher, she has the brain and the character as well as social skill she learnt from her counselor so she can adapt easily to her new life of the Upper Crust. No wonder, She always becomes a primadona in her social circle of the Jet set.

She now has everything, Money, Status, Beauty, Energy, Brain and a lot of free time to enjoy the things she loves. Of course, she still love shopping, especially the finer things.

I'm very proud fo her.

what does primadona mean?hehehe  hope she won't get through her husband's fortune. She adapted to her new life of the Upper Crust easily, but it won't be so easy for her to adapt to the former life. Go down to business now. Today I would like to share several English slangs with you. Men say:If you want to be the best you must push the envelope. But the workplace my brother is working at is filled with intrigue. The leader is a middle-aged woman. Her favored followers breathe down others necks, always skulking around and tip off her. Her opponent-another middle-aged woman spread rumors about her hoping to bring the leader down. Everything is crazy there now.

My English teacher is a Prima donna, a woman who is extreemly arrogant, temperamental but brilliant, energetic and fun loving as well as Sexy.She is our most favourite teacher of all time !

PUSH THE ENVELOPE ?

Yes, that is exactly what my cousin has done to achieve her dream.But she has not only pushed the envelope, she was very lucky meeting the right guy at the right moment in her life.

This morning I happened to meet her at Starbuck for a small talk and a cup of coffee, I asked her what was life going on. ' I can't think of what is the grandest than i'm living now ' she said with a beautiful smile.I tried to remind her about the risk of losing the fortune so she had to get back to her former life, down to earth ? No way, what had gone, gone forever.. I'm sending thousands of Grand  to my bankers at the moment'

To be honest I believe what she has done to make her life financially secure for a very long time because I have known her since she was a little child what money meant to her.She is very smart to paly her cards well to her advantage.In addition, she is a great lover and superb persuader who play the art of persuading delicately so her husband loves her very much.He willingly gives everything she asks for.

Of course, she keeps her eyes on the ball all the time, and doesn't waste any golden opportunies to attain her personal goals.She is also very energetic to take out much of her husband's fortune and then put into her bank accounts.She is always aware that life is too short to think about tomorrow.

Differnt from your cousin i won't keep my eyes one the ball. Some of the time i feel puzzled about my future and then i will tell myself:"Follow your nose." I feel some of the time instinct is very correct.

i remember when i was in primary school, I hang out to a place i was not familiar with, I got out of touch with the other friends. I think they had gone back home and left me alone there. i felt so scared that I almost cried out. But you know i have been as cool as a cucumber . A voice haunting in my mind wispered to me:"Don't cry,kid, just follow your nose. and you will find the way home." God bless me. I returned home without losing a hair.

One of my colleagues retired yesterday. We held a farewell party for her. We went to a KTV and everyone of us sang tons of songs there. We really painted the town red. After that we went to a fancy restaurant. Maybe we all felt hungry,i was eating like a horse and i raised my head when  i found all of my colleagues were wolfing down their food. It wasnot a farewell party anymore at that time  it simply became a good occasion to enjoy tasty food. hehehehe 

living in city has become such a rat race so  I hope one day i can live in the countryside to plant some vegetales and fruits. beathing fresh air and eating food without being polluted are all my dreams.
