Doesn’t every nation use white phosphorus? I think it’s what makes Starburst shells and tracers work. I’ve seen white phosphorus burns. They are gruesome indeed.

And you’re welcome. I have talked to some who thought the word connected to Muslim. It doesn’t.

I don’t know. I only know it from long ago. Tracers are bullets that leave a trail so they are part of a weapons system, but you are telling me more than I knew already. i don’t know what other use it might have. Yeah, I’ve even talked to Muslims who thought the word applied to them. But we have eco terrorists and political terrorists and domestic terrorists and anti abortion terrorists etc. All kinds. That some are Muslim killing over Palestine, or a movie or a book or a cartoon etc, is the only reason the term Muslim terrorist is even used. And personally, I understand about the many and the few, but I still complain that the many Godly Muslims aren’t doing enough to keep the few insane ones from attacking randomly in Gods name.  We keep our insane from killing you when we can and we try to hunt them down for punishment if we are unsuccessful. You could do likewise. It’d save lives on both sides.

Did you see Ola’s photo of a man being dragged by men on motorcycles? Where is the outcry from those who are still of God? Abusing a corpse just has to be forbidden by the Koran. I just can’t imagine that it wouldn’t be. Where are the adults? The holy among you? Even the adults who are just wise enough to know that those young men will never live in peace. They are that crazy already. Where ever they live and whatever they do, they will always be just a little bit from killing somebody. Cross them and die. Like the Old West here.

I don’t know why you can’t. We’ve jailed the Americans who abused the corpses of Muslim dead. Abusing a corpse isn’t forbidden if all you can do is advise. If thats the case it’s only unadvisable. If it is forbidden it must violate Sharia law. Does Sharia law apply equally or only to women, non-Muslims, and those deemed enemies? Rhetorical question. But important if Islam expects non-Muslims to live in places where they rule. If you can’t enforce your laws, you might as well live under my laws. We do enforce. If you follow my meaning here. Still rhetorical.

Please believe me when I tell you it’s hard to find both sides of the story here. Our media is almost completely one sided in this. I have to look for news from places that don’t care to find actual stories that cover both sides.

I looked up white phosphorus and of course, the US uses it as a weapon. We also use land mines and drones. Here’s an article I found that wasn’t written by Socialists.

It speaks for itself. We don’t war for  fun or glory or land, we war to kill. Still…..I bet we’d complain if someone did it to us.

Because abusing a corpse is forbidden to Christians and Jews I would have expected it to be forbidden to Muslims. I thought the laws that govern Muslim behavior were called Sharia law. It is also a violation of my nations laws, but my nation is not your nation so that’s one assumption I couldn’t make. So, is abusing a corpse a violation of Sharia law? As for it’s application to women and non-muslims, we are regularly treated to stories of the religious police out looking for women wearing sunglasses or something equally wicked. Further, I thought the point of having a Muslim government was so you could enforce Sharia law, meaning if abusing a corpse IS a violation of that law, where is the prosecution? Undoubtedly you have read stories of dead Muslims being abused by some few Americans. We put those Americans in jail. Had these men committed some other crime would they have faced prison? Do you have jail? Does the act violate any laws there? You do have police right?

We are a secular nation precisely because of the difficulty in handling religious laws fairly. The reason I grow concerned at photos of mothers dressing children like suicide bombers or young men dragging a corpse to pieces is that militant islamists are not the first to indoctrinate the young. It never ends well. They grow up brutal and it will take a generation or two to get that hate out. They are hoeing one long row for sure.

We too have people completely above the law. We call them lawyers. Also rich people. And government people. The only people who aren’t above the law here are us.

I don’t think all Muslims are as you say I do. But some are. We have horrible people here too. Not most of course, but enough of them to make us all look bad. Some of them are truly vicious. They tend to kill like cowards, many of them against one victim. Sometimes they too plant bombs to kill those who disagree. No one thinks it’s all of you. But you are much closer to the problem and while there’s nothing you personally can do, as there is nothing I personally can do, I can make dang sure that law enforcement here doesn’t let things slide if we can avoid it. (Some are above the law too, can’t be helped. but the rest can go to jail) People have been dragged apart here too, those who did it are in jail. That’s just too far over the line. Even OJ would have gone to jail for that. Those who are there are the only ones who CAN make a difference. Same as here.

If it’s part of Sharia law and not enforced, can you see how that might make a non-Muslim distrustful? We hear stories of honor killings, genital mutilation, a case where a young couple were found together and BOTH were raped as punishment, a Christian girl framed by an Imam, etc etc. It doesn’t inspire confidence. Can you see how that might be? It’s not like we know very much about you. And all who say that Western media is very careful to make one side look good and one side look bad, aren’t lying. It’s hard to find your side in my media.

The explosion of crime in my country isn’t because we are secular. We’ve always been secular. Since day one. Many of our ancestors fled religious persecution in our native countries. We are experiencing high crime because lawyers have usurped my government, making it illegal to speak of God in our schools. We used to not care if you were a Muslim or a Jew or a Hindu or a Christian etc, now the Atheists are in charge. Our children are taught atheism and many false ideas about God. In some states it’s illegal to teach Creastion so our youngest children learn at school that mom and dad are quaint but wrong about God. It sickens many of us. And we don’t have uncountable crimes. The numbers are huge, but we do count them. And yes we are a very violent people living in a secular country being taught by heathens and ruled by lawyers. So why is Islam as violent as we are? Does your faith make no difference in your lives?

Most of what you hear from the West is from people wanting you to be like us. There are true Christians here, who seek peace and who are as modest as any Muslim. They aren’t the majority and they too have to struggle against those who would “free” them from their religious beliefs. Humans are humans. Those closest to the evil are the ones who need to stop it if they can or insist that others who can do so.

All just my opinions. I meant no slur to your faith or to Sharia law, only that if others are expected to adopt it, Muslims ought to be leading the way in following it. We are intentionally secular, I wouldn’t want it any other way, but we struggle against our heathens also.  Those who rise to the top politically seldom have God first. I think.

Thank you. You are right, this is EXACTLY my question. Is there an answer? When I was taught of WWII I was told that the Soviets had been so brutal to the Poles that if the Nazi’s had been even a little nicer, Poland would have joined the fight against Russia. But they weren’t, they were even more brutal. This is what we are shown regarding the brutality and hypocricy of Islam. Yet we NEVER see Muslims rising against it for the reason that even if Saddam was a bad Muslim, he was still a Muslim and it’s better to be gassed by a Muslim than fed by a non-Muslim. As I said in other posts, I think Palestine, who claims victory in a cease fire obtained only due to the efforts of Egypt, the US and the willingness of Isreal to stop, has lost most all support here. At least in my neck of the woods. They have a right to self-determination and if they want to live in fear and tyranny, I’m ok with that. But if they continue to seek to export the fear, it might be time to show them what open war looks like. This is the Islam we are shown. I’ve never seen the Islam of peace. I only hear the words. And the neverending excuses why it’s ok for them to do crap that they decry in others. The kind of people who do or even tolerate this behavior are unworthy to rule the Holy City and certainly only a fool would trust them to rule it openly. My faith sings praises to God on a regular basis, could we expect to be shot by godless zealots who claim we violate THEIR faith by worshipping as prescribed by MY faith? Where ARE the holy of Islam? You must be out there, we can hear you breathing. Where IS your outrage? If Islam can’t enforce Sharia against Muslims, why on earth would ANY non-muslim allow it to even affect them? Forget Sharia, it’s bound to be against civil law to shoot up a wedding reception, where is justice? I’ve met Muslims I think love God, where are they in this? Afraid to be killed by hypocrits? Surely not, no one who loves God can fear death. So what is it?

And Shymaa, I had sympathy when this started. It was you and several like you that have convinced me you’re just dangerous. If those who believe as you do are allowed to take charge, you will tyrannize any you think fail to live up to the standards you expect in others but can’t manage for yourself. You need a new PR guy. The one you have is awful. This is what you have convinced me of, in spite of the efforts of more Godly Muslims to convince me otherwise. They are not you and more importantly, you are not them. Murder in the streets in the name of God. Shame.
