Joe knows a lot of people. Lucky for us, some of the people he knows are in the music business. He is using his connections to get an interview with rising star Alicia Keys.

Joe

Nedra: Joe! I heard you were talking to Miguel about interviewing someone.

Joe: You’re right Nedra I was talking to Miguel yesterday about interviewing Alicia Keys. She’s a new up and coming R&B artist.

Nedra: Oh yeah? What’s, ah, what’s one of her most popular songs?

Joe: Well, she has two popular songs currently on the charts right now. Her whole album is number one on the American charts, but the two songs that she has are… that are very popular are called… the first one is called “Fallin’” and the second one is called “Your Girlfriend.”

Nedra: So did you have any luck getting ahold of her?

Joe: You know, unfortunately I didn’t. Um, there was a, a big scheduling conflict in terms of her having to do a TV show as well as a performance today in New York so… just, you know, it just really didn’t work out but it looks like I’m going to have another opportunity tomorrow in the morning. So, we’ll see how it goes.

Nedra: It sounds like she’s a pretty happening girl.

Joe: Yeah she is. She’s she’s on fire right now. Her album sales are through the roof and she has a bunch of adoring fans.

Nedra: Well, good luck with that.

Joe: Okay thanks.

Joe is obviously excited about talking to Alicia Keys. She is one of the most popular singers in the U.S. right now. Unfortunately, she is very busy and Joe is having a hard time getting in contact with her. Hopefully he’ll be able to speak to her this week.
