Steph:  So, guess what tickets go on sale today.

Derek:  What tickets are those?

Steph:  Bjorn Again.

Derek:  Bjorn Again? I’ve never heard of them.

Steph:  Well, uh, have you ever heard of ABBA?

Derek:  Actually, yes.

Steph:  Well ABBA’s the band out of Sweden and Bjorn Again is an ABBA cover band.

Derek:  Well, that sounds pretty good. Are they, have you ever heard them before?

Steph:  Well, I’ve heard about them. I haven’t heard them. But I’ve heard they’re really good.

Derek:  So you’d hafta live up to quite a bit to, ya know, to live up to ABBA.

Steph:  Yeah, that’s true. I mean, ABBA was the premier disco band of the seventies.

Derek:  Oh yeah. Most people of our generation probably grew up on them. Or at least I did.

Steph:  Right. Exactly. Yeah, I mean. And Bjorn again supposedly puts on this really great show with lights and sparkles and dancers and they do a great job.

Derek:  Sounds pretty cool!

Steph:  Yeah. I can’t wait.

Derek:  Sounds like it would fit.

Steph:  Mmmhmm.

Discussion

ABBA is a pretty cool group. The fact that their music is still around after almost 30 years is proof. One of the cool things about ABBA is that they sing in English. I think that this has made their music more accessible. If you had a band, would you sing in English or in your native language?
