You can say that something is “edgy” if it feels a little bit dangerous. If doing it makes you a little bit uncomfortable, it’s probably “edgier” than things you’ve done in the past. For example, if you usually listen to ordinary pop music, like Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake, then listening to a rock band like Radiohead would be an edgy thing to do. Or, if you always do everything your parents tell you to do, then things would start to get edgier if you suddenly stopped following their advice.
