Chloe: Hey Rob, what’s up?
Rob: Not much. Just kinda hanging out.
Chloe: What’s going on? You don’t look too good.
Rob: Ah, I’m not feeling so good. Remember… remember my girlfriend from awhile back?
Chloe: Uh-huh.
Rob: Well we went out to dinner last night and she kinda told me that… that the flame was gone and that she doesn’t really want to see me anymore.
Chloe: Well, that’s too bad. But don’t worry about it. I’ll just hook you up with one of my friends. Remember Lindsay? She’s been talking about how cute you are.
Rob: Really? Lindsay, huh?
Chloe: Yeah!
Rob: She is kinda cute, and she’s pretty smart too, huh?
Chloe: Yeah. Maybe you should go on a blind date with her or something.
Rob: That sounds kinda scary, but I’m down with it.
Chloe: We won’t tell her it’s you.
Rob: Alright. Let’s do that. Set something up for Friday.
Chloe: Okay. 8:00?
Rob: Perfect.
Chloe: Alright.
Rob: Alright, talk to you later.
Chloe: Bye.
Rob: Bye.

Discussion
Rob is pretty sad at the beginning of this conversation, but he starts to feel better when Chloe tells him that she’ll set him up with Lindsay. There are lots of fish in the sea, right? The speed of the conversation is a little fast, but you can listen to it as many times as you like! Take your time. We’ll still be here… See you around!—Doc
