Brandon: Wait. I’ll drive ya. I got Candy’s car.
Lana: I’m walkin’.
Brandon: Here. (Gives her a beer.)
Lana: What are you hangin’ around here for anyway?
Brandon: Well, I thought someone ought to walk you home before you get an MIP or somethin’.
Lana: I don’t need anybody to walk me anywhere. (She starts to trip and fall.)
Brandon: Jeez. Watch it.
Lana: I don’t need you to stop me from trippin’.
Brandon: Wow. You are one cranky girl.
Lana: Yeah, well you’d be cranky to “Mister I’m going to Memphis, Graceland, Tennessee.” When you’re stuck in a town where there’s nothing to do but go bumper-skiing and chase bats every night of your evil fucking life.
Brandon: Hey, I was bored my whole life.
Lana: Yeah? Is that why you let John tie you up to the back of the truck and drag you around like a dog?
Brandon: No. I just thought that’s what guys do around here.
Lana: Wait a minute. What’s your name again?
Brandon: Brandon.

Discussion
Both Brandon and Lana are from Nebraska, so they have accents that make their speech a little hard to understand. However, it’s good for you to hear as many accents as you can in case you meet people from many different states. Boys Don’t Cry is an amazing movie. I cried a lot while watching it. You’ll definitely be amazed, impressed and surprised. Hilary Swank gives and incredible performance. I give this movie 9 out of 10! Have you seen this movie and you want to share your opinion? Or maybe you have seen another movie recently you want to talk about? Well, come to the “Movie Madness” message board and tell us about it! From the front row, Migs
