Steph:  Hey, Sara, guess what?

Sara:  What?

Steph:  My band went into the studio last weekend.

Sara:  You did?

Steph:  Yeah.

Sara:  And?

Steph:  We made a CD. We cut all the tracks for it.

Sara:  That is so exciting.

Steph:  Yeah. It was totally fun. We mixed it all down and mastered it. And it’s really great.

Sara:  That is so cool. So you guys produced it yourselves?

Steph:  Yeah. We produced it ourselves and did all the graphic design for it and all that stuff. And it was because of you.

Sara:  Because of me? Why?

Steph:  Yeah. Because you told us that if we wanted to get famous, that we had to make a CD.

Sara:  Oh. I did?

Discussion

Recording this cd was a really interesting thing to do. The band actually only cut a CD with three songs on it. It isn’t an EP, it’s a maxi single.
The band will probably cut some more songs and make an EP this year.
Have you ever played or recorded music before? Have you ever watched someone else do it?
